A number of us knew Ayanna Stewart personally, though most of us just joined because we are members of the community and interested in growing personally or professionally in the area in which we volunteer!

Project History
Ayanna's Place is inspired by the life's work of educator Ayanna D. Stewart. Miss Stewart was a dynamic and skilled early childhood educator who had a strong penchant for everything technological. She dedicated her time and energy to advancing her practice of techno-literacy and media literacy. The show's setting, a community center called Ayanna’s Place, captures the energy, excitement, and zest for education and technological education as the teacher it was named after.
